Red Ribbon Week
Mattie,
This week was Red Ribbon Week for you at school. Each day was a different theme and we had so much fun picking out your outfits. Have I told you how much I enjoy all this stuff? How I enjoy being active with you in your school and how my heart seriously fills up with so much gratitude that I can do this? From making your lunches, picking out your school outfits, to the little projects you get... I LOOOOVE IT. The fact that you're enjoying going to school makes it easier on me too. <3

One day at a time
I still haven't had a chance to get this computer fixed. (I'm here in bed on my phone) Honestly we have been so busy with other things like going to the State Fair for the first time! And also Nico's baptism/ 1st birthday party planning. (You will see how crazy I can get with your birthdays. Your daddy always tells me "why don't you just keep it simple and just not go crazy with your ideas?" Um... Yeaaaaa okayyy... <insert eye roll here> lol.. Pfffttt he doesn't know!!! ) hmmm what else?? Oh yes.... pictures too! Oy!
But I'm here my loves. Taking every picture/ video possible (on my phone) so I can share with you soon. It's insane how many pictures I take of you both. And there's no slowing down either sooooo I hope you get used to it by now. =)
Anyway.... Here's one of my favs from just last weekend when we went to the state fair in Dallas. I can't wait to tell you more about it! You both had an absolute blast! Ok ok.. We all did.
Next weekend is Halloween already!!! Howwwww!?! This year is flying! Anyway, I love you my angel faces! <3 (hope to not be gone for too long)

A Grandmother's Love...
is priceless. <3
We visited your Welita this weekend and it's just always a peaceful feeling when we go. It's amazing how every time I walk into those front doors, I feel all these memories rush thru my body of when I was little. I can't explain it. But it's a wonderful feeling. Your Welitos love you two sooooo much! They love their daughters but once they get grandchildren it's like we get pushed off to the side! Haha jk. It's a different kind of love. But it's magical. Grandchildren make grandparents feel alive and their love for you is just so overwhelming!
I look at this picture I took this weekend of you sitting on Wela's lap. And I didn't even look at it closely until later on when I got home but I have to say it's one of my favorites. I have a lot of favorites but this one just goes up there on my list. Just look at your grandmas face. You can't fully see it but you can tell she's smiling and hugging you with all her might. Maybe because you're the youngest Nico but boy she just adores playing with you. You smile at her and she just melts. (Ok we all do. Hehe)
::sigh:: she's such an amazing, amazing, amazing woman. But you know that already. ;) one of the strongest human beings you'll ever meet.
You both are so lucky to have both sets of grandparents as of now. They will always love you and they will always be one of your biggest supporters in life. Appreciate them always please. Be kind to them. Talk to them. Tell them you love them. Hug them! Always. <3
Side note: I'm writing from my phone because my computer is needing some repair. *sniff sniff. That's why I have been MIA. Ugh it's killing me inside too because I feel so calm when I sit down and write to you both. My fingers are ready to hit top speed and go full force with the typing. But I can't!!! Grrrrr. So needless to say, my phone will have to do for these short posts. :)
